The Color of Milk

"The Color of Milk" is a movie about first love and how confusing it can be. Twelve-year-old Selma has decided never to be interested in boys whatsoever and to keep herself under control ever, as in her family, love is always coming out to be a „natural disaster“. But soon she finds it increasingly difficult, not to fall in love.
The story is so common and simple, but Torun Lian, the director and at the same time the author of the novel "The Color of Milk" is based upon, has pickled everything with funny scenes that afterwards you will leave the cinema with at least a little smile. Also the two main chidren-actors, Julia Krohn as Selma and Bernhard Naglestad as Andy, have adopted this mischievousity and convinced by their lively mimics.
