He says he’s only the driver. Saimir’s father transports Albanian refugees from the Italian border area to safe ground. Although this dangerous job helps him decide the fate of his fellow countrymen, he acts as if it’s nothing to do with him. Even when a young girl with an unspecific destination is loaded onto his pickup he does not face up to what is going on. Saimir has accompanied his father on these nightly tours as long as he can remember. But these days he only wants to live and to fall in love. Saimir knows that he can’t remain silent if he doesn’t want to be ruined himself.Whichever way he decides, he’s involved. |
